Subscription Update Obituary

     Rose R. (Ducharme) Granger, 86, passed away on Ash Wednesday, March 5, 2014, at UMASS Memorial Medical Center. She was pre-deceased by her husband, George R. Granger, her 4 brothers Henry, Adelard (Al), Charles, and Louis Ducharme; her 2 sisters Mary G. Mason and Mary E. Bousquet; and her nephew David Ducharme. She leaves behind many nieces and nephews.

     Rose was born in Worcester, daughter of the late Arthur and Laudina (Derosiers) Ducharme. She graduated from Commerce High School. She worked for the City of Worcester at City Hospital in the cafeteria for many years. She enjoyed bowling, knitting, crocheting, sewing, and playing bingo.

     A calling hour will be held on Friday, March 7, 2014, from 10:30-11:30 a.m. in Nordgren Memorial Chapel 300 Lincoln St. Worcester, MA 01605. A funeral service will follow at 11:30 in the funeral home. Burial will follow in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. In lieu of flowers, donations in Rose’s memory may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital , 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
