Subscription Update Obituary

   Rose L. (Marion) Gaspie, 80, of Worcester died Wednesday February 11, 2009 in St. Vincent Hospital. Rose is survived by her husband of 35 years, Robert R. Gaspie Sr.; two daughters, Annie Fogden of N.H. and Artina McGourty of Florida; two step sons, Kerri John Gaspie and his wife Lori of Millbury, and Bo Gaspie of Worcester; a brother, Francis L. Marion of Florida, and a sister, Clare Marion of CA; seven grandchildren, Jody Vigara, Ebony Hubbard, Christopher and Timothy Fogden and Jennifer, Jessica, and Andrew Gaspie, and several great grandchildren. Rose was predeceased by a son, Robin Lee Hubbard.

   Rose was born in Fitchburg daughter of Charles and Rose (Jacobs) Marion and has lived in Worcester over 30 years. She was a graduate of St. Michaels High School. Rose worked for the former Jamesbury Company for several years. She enjoyed being a homemaker.

   A graveside service will be held Tuesday February 17, at 12 noon at the Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. There are no calling hours. Relatives and friends are asked to meet directly at the cemetery. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association, P.O. Box 11454, Alexandria, VA. 22312. The MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation St. is directing arrangements.
