Subscription Update Obituary

    Rosa L. White, 63, of Worcester, passed away on Tuesday, February 15, 2011 at home, surrounded by her family.

    Rosa is survived by two sons, Bobby Hammond and his wife Samona of Worcester and James E. White and his wife Becky of Gastonia, NC; two daughters, Brenda Givins and Princilla Walker and her husband Harry Walker, Jr. all of Worcester; one brother, Willie Givins, Jr. of Worcester; two sisters, Creola Hutchful and Lillie T. Jones both of Worcester; eleven grandchildren, ten great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her parents, Willie H. and Estella Lee (Johnson) Givins; a sister, Vertil Givins.

    Services for Rosa will be held on Tuesday, February 22nd at 11:30 a.m. in Mount Sinai Church-God of Christ, 63 Wellington St., Worcester. Burial will follow in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. A period of calling hours will be held from 10-11:30 a.m. in church prior to the service. MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation St., Worcester is honored to be assisting the family with arrangements. Flowers are welcome.
