Subscription Update Obituary

Ronald W. Dow, 65, of Worcester and Jensen Beach, FL died Wednesday, April 4th in his home with his loving family by his side. He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Kathleen M. (O’Keefe) Dow; his twin sons, Michael F. Dow and his wife, Marnie of Grafton, and Mark E. Dow and his fiancée, Melissa Ladroga of Oxford; his brother Bernard E. Dow and his wife, Angela of West Boylston; and his sister, Maureen E. Rolla and her husband, Mario of Hubbardston; five grandchildren, Kayleigh, Amanda, Melissa, Kevin and Michael Dow; and several nephews and nieces.
He was born in Cocoa Beach, Florida the son of Ronald and Mary (Dixon) Dow. Mr. Dow was a graduate of South High School; and served in the United States Navy. He was the owner and operator of Independent Garage Door. Ron was a member of American Legion Post 126 in Jensen Beach and the Alhambra Council Knights of Columbus. He volunteered at the Veterans Administration Hospital in West Palm Beach, Florida and with the Boy Scouts. Mr. Dow enjoyed fishing, photography and drag racing in Epping, NH.
The family wishes to extend their heartfelt thanks to JHC Home Care Hospice for the care and support provided to us during this most difficult time.
His funeral is Tuesday, April 10th from O’CONNOR BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 592 Park Avenue, with the funeral Mass at 10:00 a.m. in Our Lady of the Angels Church, 1222 Main Street. Burial will follow in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. Calling hours are Monday, April 9th from 4:00 until 8:00 p.m. in the funeral home.
