Subscription Update Obituary

  Ronald F. Couture, 64, of 55 Temple St., died Wednesday, June 11 at St. Vincent Hospital after a brief illness.

  He leaves his wife of 35 years, Anne D. (Johnson) Couture; a son, Matthew R. Couture of   Spencer; a daughter, Alisha A. Smith and her husband Kevin of N. Brookfield; his mother, Mildred (Comptois) Couture of Northbridge; two brothers, Bruce W. Couture and his wife Kathleen of Plymouth and Gary L. Couture of Attleboro; two sisters, Brenda A. Lavoie and her husband Maurice of Northbridge, and Jean M. Hunt and her husband Ronald of Uxbridge; two grandchildren, Brant and Logan Smith; several nieces and nephews.

  He is predeceased by his father Harry L. Couture, Sr. and a brother Harry L. Couture, Jr. Born in Worcester, he graduated from Millbury High School and later served his country during the Vietnam War with the U.S. Army.

  Mr. Couture was a sheet metal worker for Howard Products in Worcester for the past 30 years, retiring this year due to illness. He enjoyed gardening, camping and fishing.

  Funeral services will be held on Saturday, June 14 at 10 a.m. in the J. HENRI MORIN & SON FUNERAL HOME, 23 Maple Terr., Spencer. Burial will follow with Military Honors in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. Calling hours are Friday, June 13 from 5 to 7 p.m. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to American Cancer Society, 30 Speen St., Framingham, 01701.
