Ronald “Ronnie” Charles Lambert, 40, passed away peacefully at his home in Worcester on March 31, 2013, surrounded by his loving family after an illness. He was born in Worcester, the son of Ronald W. Lambert and Lynda (Greene) Lambert.
Ronnie grew up in Rutland and attended the Mercy Centre in Worcester for the past 34 years. He enjoyed jig saw puzzles, country music and dancing. He loved family cookouts and spending time with his nieces and nephews. He was the proud recipient of a “Special Service” award from the Emerald Club recently.
Besides his father, Ronald W. Lambert and his wife, Nancy of Webster and his mother, Lynda Lambert and her companion, Everett Reynolds of Rutland, Ronnie leaves his sister, Deanna Bailey and her husband, Peter of North Grafton; a brother, Daniel Lambert and his partner Nina Bellanger of Barre; his half sisters, Linda and Laurie of upstate New York; his step-mother, his nephews, Austin, JD and Nicholas; and his niece, Sierra and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Ronnie’s family would like to express their appreciation and special thanks to his two beloved caretakers, Tina and Vida, for their exceptional care as well as the JHC Hospice for their care and compassion.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend calling hours from 5 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, April 4, at the Miles Funeral Home, 1158 Main St., Holden. A funeral service celebrating Ronnie’s life will be held on Friday, April 5, at 10 a.m., at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Worcester County Memorial Park in Paxton.
