Subscription Update Obituary

     Roland M. Constantineau, Sr., 76 of Podunk Rd., died Monday, April 21 at UMASS Memorial Medical Center in Worcester.

He leaves his wife of 40 years, Ann M. (Willard) Constantineau, sons; Roland M. Constantineau, Jr. and his wife Brenda of Brookfield, James W. Constantineau and his wife Rebecca of Palatka, Fl., Daniel W. Shannon and his wife Jessica of Spencer, daughters; Lisa Hitchcock and her husband “Runt” of Palatka, Fl., Susan Cropley and her husband Andrew of Satsuma, Fl., Annette M. Benson of Spencer, Darlene L. Garrow and her husband Rick of No.Brookfield, and Patricia A. Shannon of Brookfield, his sister Patricia Pelletier of E. Brookfield, 21 grandchildren, and 17 great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Roland was a machinist for Sleeper & Hartley in his younger years, and later worked for Bond Sand & Gravel before working for the E. Brookfield Highway Dept., all the while building a successful recycling business from the ground up known as R.M. Constantineau Auto & Metal Salvage in East Brookfield.

Born in Worcester, he was the son of Maurice and Marie (Kayer) Constantineau.

His funeral will be held on Saturday, April 26 at 10 a.m. in the J.HENRI MORIN & SON FUNERAL HOME, 23 Maple Terr., Spencer. Burial will follow in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. Calling hours are Friday from 4 to 7 p.m. in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to American Cancer Society , 30 Speen Street, Framingham, MA. 01701.
