��� Roland E. Bedard, 83, passed away Thursday, November 19, 2009, in Blair House, Tewksbury surrounded by his loving family.� His wife, Jeanne H. (Ryan) Bedard, died in 2007. He leaves a daughter, Elaine Bernier and her husband David of Dracut; son-in-law, John Chauvin of Port Charlotte, FL; brother, Omer Bedard of Arcadia, FL; 2 sisters, Florence LaJuenesse and her husband Joseph of Dennis and Claire Hackett and her husband Charles of Spencer; 3 grandsons, John Chauvin, Jr., and his wife Michelle of Port Charlotte, FL, Michael Chauvin of Oxford, and Bryan Bernier of Dracut; 2 great-granddaughters, Meaghan and Kaitlin of FL; 2 great-grandsons, Christopher and Anthony of Worcester; and many nieces & nephews.� He was predeceased by his daughter, Marie Chauvin (2008) and brothers William and Eugene Bedard and sister, Lucille Sanborn.� He was born in Worcester, son of William and Orise (Perodeau) Bedard.� Roland was a WWII Army veteran and served in the European Theatre.� He was an avid Bingo player and enjoyed spending time with his family.

��� Calling hours will be held at Nordgren Memorial Chapel, 300 Lincoln Street on Sunday, Nov. 22, from 4-7 p.m.� The graveside committal service will be at Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton, on Monday, Nov. 23 at 11:00 a.m.� In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the MA Veterans Shelter, 69 Grove Street, Worcester MA 01605.
