Subscription Update Obituary

    Roger H. Nettelbladt, 71, died Sunday, May 2nd in St. Vincent Hospital in Worcester, after a lengthy illness.

    He leaves his wife, Nancy S. (Woodcock) Nettelbladt; a sister, Judith F. Bunnewith of Millbury; many cousins, nephews, nieces and his favorite friend Bruno. He was born in Worcester, son of Henry and Matilda (Faltanavic) Nettelbladt.

    Roger was a goldsmith and designer of custom jewelry and owned N & S Goldsmiths Inc. in Northborough and was an Army veteran. He was Past Master of Morning Star Lodge in Worcester and the Olive Lodge of Masons in Millbury. He belonged to the Scottish Rite Bodies in Worcester and Aleppo Temple in Willington and the Worcester County Shrine Club. He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Worcester. He will be sorely missed by his wife, relatives and his dog.

    His funeral service will be held 10 a.m. Friday, May 7th in Mulhane Home for Funerals, 45 Main St. in Millbury. Calling hours are 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday, May 6th in the funeral home. Burial will be in Worcester County Memorial Park in Paxton. A Masonic Ritual will be held at 7:30 p.m. Thursday evening in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Society of Progressive Supranuclear Palsy (PSP), 11350 McCormick Road, Suite 906, Hunt Valley, Maryland, 21031. Mulhane Home for Funerals in Millbury is assisting the family with arrangements.
