Subscription Update Obituary

   Robert P. Kuchnicki, Jr., 67, of Worcester, died Wednesday, March 4, 2009 in his home.

   He leaves three daughters: Dawn M. Kuchnicki of Worcester, Lea Ann Kuchnicki of Spencer and Brenda L. Kuchnicki of Worcester; his significant other, Karen Vessella of Worcester; two brothers: Richard P. Kuchnicki of Haymarket, VA., and Bruce Kuchnicki of Auburn; six grandchildren; three nephews and one niece. He was born in Worcester, a son of Robert P. Kuchnicki, Sr, and Bernice V. (Ostapka) Kuchnicki and lived here all his life.

   Mr. Kuchnicki worked as a production manager over 40 years at Saltus Press and was still working at the time of his death. He was a graduate of St. Mary’s High School and Worcester Junior College. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force Reserve.

   Robert was a member of St. Stephen’s Church and the Knights of Columbus. He enjoyed spending time with his family, gardening, walking and watching sports. He was a die-hard Washington Redskins fan.

   The funeral will be held on Monday, March 9 from HENRY-DIRSA FUNERAL HOME, 33 Ward St, with a Mass at 10:00 a.m. in St. Stephen’s Church, 357 Grafton St. Burial will be in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. Calling hours in the funeral home are Sunday, March 8 from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. Flowers may be sent or memorial contributions may be made to St. Stephen’s School, 355 Grafton St, Worcester, MA 01604.
