Robert P. Beauregard, Sr., 81, of Auburn, died Friday August 26, 2011 surrounded by family and friends. His wife, Dorothy (Dangredo) Beauregard predeceased him in 1985.

He leaves four daughters and two sons, Gale Grimala and her husband, Robert, Susan Dumont whose husband was the late Thomas Dumont, Sandra Johnson and her husband, Raymond, Robin Bulikowski and her husband, Witold, Robert Beauregard and his partner, Kim and Barry Beauregard and his wife Lori; eleven grandchildren, three great-grandchildren; a longtime companion, Eva Aubin; three sisters, Shirley Fountain, Avis Gomes and Barbara Miller and nephews and nieces. He also leaves his extended family including the Reed family and the Stump family. He was born in Brookfield, a son of Arthur and Viola (Thompson) Beauregard.

Mr. Beauregard was an auto body mechanic for many years and worked for Ronnie’s Auto Body and Colonial Auto Body. He retired several years ago. Robert was a loving father. He loved fishing, playing cards, working on cars and spending time with family and friends. He enjoyed going to Florida in the winter where he loved to go shrimping.

A graveside service will be held on Saturday, September 3, 2011 at 10:00 AM in Worcester County Memorial Park, 217 Richards Ave, Paxton. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Overlook Hospice , 88 Masonic Home Rd., Charlton, Ma., 01507. A memorial gathering given by Eva Aubin will be held on Sunday, September 4th at 1:00 PM in the Tuttle Post, 88 Bancroft St, Auburn, Ma. HENRY-DIRSA FUNERAL SERVICE, 33 Ward St., Worcester is assisting the family with the funeral arrangements.
