Subscription Update Obituary

Robert L. Stevens, 75, of West Boylston, passed away Sunday, March 13, 2011 in the Oakdale Rehab and Skilled Nursing Center.

Robert was born on July 9, 1935, son of the late Paul F. and Georgia L. (Brightman) Stevens. During the Korean War, he proudly served his country in the United States Army.

Robert was a police officer and worked at Romar Tissue Mill. He was also a state worker in Rutland, MA. He enjoyed fishing and going on drives.

Robert is survived by his son, Gary Stevens of North Carolina; his daughters, Carol Collins and her husband Tim of North Carolina, Cindy Bosse of North Brookfield, Barbara Stevens of Belchertown, Ann Marie Young and her husband Daniel of Westminster, Gloria Kalilainen and her husband Ken of New Boston, New Hampshire; a sister, Dorothy Moyette of Barre; a brother, Raymond Stevens and his wife Marilyn of Barre; 19 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren.

Robert was predeceased by his wife, Marjorie (Keyes) Stevens on May 19, 2010, and his brothers, Paul and Donnie.

Burial will be on Friday, March 25, 2011 in Worcester Memorial Park Cemetery, 217 Richards Avenue Paxton, MA at 11:00 A.M. A Memorial Service followed by a reception, will be held in Redemption Rock Church, 3 Hager Park Rd, Westminster, on Friday, March 25, 2011 at 2:00 P.M. There are no Calling Hours. Brandon Funeral Home, 305 Wanoosnoc Road, Fitchburg, is assisting the family with arrangements.
