Subscription Update Obituary

Robert J. Lord, 71, passed away peacefully on Monday, April 15th with his loving wife of 36 years, Darlene J. (Courtemanche) Lord by his side.

Robert also leaves a brother, Michael Lord of Worcester, along with numerous, nieces and nephews.  He is predeceased by his parents, Frank Sr. and Mildred (Moyer) Lord; two siblings, Frank Lord, Jr. and Louise Shepard.

Bob worked as a cook for Fidelity for many years and earlier in life worked at the Telegram & Gazette in Worcester.  He was a huge fan of the New England Patriots and enjoyed watching the Golden Girls TV show.   Bob was also a faithful parishioner of the Millbury Baptist Church.

Family and friends will celebrate and remember Bob’s life by gathering for a time of visitation on Saturday, April 27th from 1 to 3 p.m. in Mulhane Home for Funerals, 45 N. Main Street, Millbury.  His funeral service will follow at 3 p.m. in the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Robert’s church in his memory, Millbury Baptist Church, 17 N. Main Street, Millbury MA 01527.
