Subscription Update Obituary

Robert C. Wright, 88, of S. Yarmouth passed away on Nov. 1. He was the husband of Lillian M. (Hickson) Wright for 35 years and was predeceased by his wife of 26 years, the late Shirley (Metcalf) Wright. He is also survived by a son, Robert G. Wright and his wife Sandy of S. Orleans, MA; four grandsons, Rob, Jeff, Steve, and Chris Wright; 2 step-sons, Bert Buthen, Jr. of Las Vegas, Robert G. Buthen of Ft. Pierce, FL; a step-daughter, Barbara Belisle of Spencer; 6 step-grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; and 1 niece.

Mr. Wright was born in Richford, VT and was a graduate of Richford High School. He served in the US Navy in England during WWII. He worked with Mass. Electric, now N.E. Power Co. for 31 years retiring in 1980. Mr. Wright was a member of the VFW and Disabled American Veterans in Port Richey, the Worcester Club of Cape Cod and Elder Services of Yarmouth. Mr. and Mrs. Wright were residents of Holden before moving to Port Richey, FL in 1980 where they lived for 20 years before moving to S. Yarmouth.

A graveside service in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton will be at 12 noon, Tuesday, November 14. Contributions in his memory may be made to the charity of one's choice. Arrangements by Hallett Funeral Home, S. Yarmouth.
