Subscription Update Obituary

    Robert C. Miller, 55, of Holden died suddenly Tuesday, December 29th in UMass Memorial Medical Center.

    He leaves his wife of 21 years, Debra A. (McInnis) Miller; two daughters, Amanda A. Brady and her husband David of Leicester and Sharyn M. Miller of Worcester; the mother of his children, Maryellen Pratte of Leicester; a sister, Beverly J. Miller of Worcester; two grandsons, Jack and Henry Brady and several aunts, uncles, nephews and nieces.

    He was born in Worcester, the son of Ernest and Janice (Gillespie) Miller. He was the president of Minuteman International/Achla Designs in Fitchburg for 15 years and previously worked at Dienes Corp in Spencer and Warner and Swasey Company in Worcester. Robert enjoyed spending time with his family especially his grandsons. He enjoyed fishing, working and riding his motorcycle.

    The funeral is Saturday, January 2nd from O’CONNOR BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 592 Park Avenue, Worcester with a Mass at 10:00 AM in Our Lady of the Angels Church, 1222 Main Street, Worcester. Burial will be in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. Calling hours are Friday, January 1st from 4:00 until 7:00 PM in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Levine Cancer Center, UMass Memorial Foundation, 333 South Street, Shrewsbury, MA 01545.
