Subscription Update Obituary

    Rita L. (Mathurin) Robitaille, 90, of Douglas and a former Auburn resident, died on Sunday, March 28th, 2010 at home after an illness.

    Her husband of 57 years, Anthony L. Robitaille, died in 1999. She is survived by two sons: Leo M. Robitaille of South Grafton and Paul A. Robitaille of Oxford; two daughters: Cecile A. Boss of North Grosvenordale, CT and Louise Y. Forget of Douglas with whom she lived; a brother, Louis Mathurin of Shrewsbury; 9 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren and many nephews and nieces. Rita is predeceased by a grandson, Mario Forget and a brother, Donat Mathurin.

    Rita was born in Quincy, MA, daughter of the late O. Michael and Dora (Messier) Mathurin and is a member of Saint Louis Church in Webster, MA.

    Family and friends are invited to gather at Saint Louis Church, 14 Lake Street Webster, on Wednesday, March 31st at 10 AM for a Mass of Christian Burial. Burial will follow in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. Calling hours are on Tuesday, March 30th from 6 to 8 PM in the Alfred Roy & Sons Funeral Home, 12 Hammond St. Worcester.
