Subscription Update Obituary

    Rita A. (Poirier) Cantello, 92, of Mill Street died Sunday, July 25, 2010 in her home.

    Her husband of 65 years, Frederick W. Cantello died in 2007. She leaves her three sons, Francis X. and his wife, Elizabeth Cantello of Fort Wayne, IN; W. Peter and his wife, Maha Cantello of Littleton, CO; and James M. Cantello of Worcester; two brothers, Harold Poirier of Leicester and Robert Poirier of Worcester; a sister, Doris Serpa of Bristol, RI; three grandchildren, Wendy McMahon, Kim Cantello and Craig Cantello; three great grandchildren and many nephews and nieces. She was predeceased by two brothers, Victor Poirier and Arthur Poirier; three sisters, Yvonne Poirier, Dorilla Barcelow and Irene Murray. She was born in New Bedford the daughter of Arthur R. and Marie (Poirier) Poirier.

    The funeral is Wednesday, July 28th from O'CONNOR BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 592 Park Avenue with a Mass at 10:00 AM in St. Andrew the Apostle Church, 5 Spaulding Street. Burial will be in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. Calling hours are Tuesday, July 27th from 4:00 until 8:00 PM in the funeral home.
