Richard W. “TP’ Wilson, 70, of Framingham, died Thursday, October 10th at home with his family by his side. He leaves his wife, Diane E. (Williams) Wilson; two sons, Cleven Atwood of Farrell, PA and Corey Clark of Worcester; his daughter Sonya Hazzard of Worcester; his brother, Glenn Wilson and his wife, Jeannie of Leicester; two sisters, Paula Wilson Goolsby and her significant other, Thomas Gresham of Springfield and Susan Wilson Price and her husband, Richard “Sonny” Price of Worcester; eleven grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and many nephews, nieces, great-nephews and great-nieces. He was predeceased by his brother George M. Wilson, III and two sisters, Valerie Wilson Tatum and Denise Wilson Bennett.

He was born in Worcester, the son of George M. and Barbara V. (Ward) Wilson. Mr. Wilson had served in the Army as a sergeant in Vietnam. He had been a cook for many Framingham area restaurants and last worked as a relief driver and program advocate for South Middlesex Opportunity Council. Mr. Wilson was a former member of All Saints Church in Worcester and a member of the Greater Framingham Community Church; and a Friend of Bill and Bob for ten years. As a young man he was very active in sports, and performed as a singer with the Gospel Wonder’s, a gospel musical group. He was proud of his Native American roots and affiliation with the Nipmuc tribe.
