Subscription Update Obituary

Richard P. Magnusson, 61, of 56 Dorchester St., died Sat. March 31 in UMASS Memorial Healthcare after a long illness. He leaves his wife of 22 years, Judy A. (Keller) Magnusson; four sons, Richard P. Magnusson, Jr. of LaVernia, TX, Paul R. Magnusson, James M. Keller and Edward R. Keller, all of Worcester; three daughters, Melissa A. Barnes of Worcester, Christine A. Sousa of Hudson and Stacy M. Flores of Oxford; a brother, Robert Magnusson of Worcester and eighteen grandchildren. He also leaves several foster children. A sister Ann Marie Magnusson predeceased him.

He was born in Worcester, son of Roy W. and Mary T. (Hester) Magnusson and graduated from Commerce High School. Richard was an Army Veteran of the Vietnam War. He owned and operated Worcester Labor Service for many years.

Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, April 3 from 6:00-8:00 PM in CALLAHAN & FAY BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 61 Myrtle St. Burial will be private.
