Subscription Update Obituary

    Richard Paul Belton, 75 of Lake Worth Florida, died Sunday April 9 in Florida.

    His wife, Frances Ann (Duncan) Belton, died in 1997. He leaves two sons: Richard E. Belton of Spencer, Brian R. Belton of Worcester; two daughters: Susan Ann Stanco and Stacey Marie Belton, both of Lake Worth Florida; five grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; nephews and nieces. A son, Michael P. Belton of Boston, died in 1989. His only sibling, a brother, Edward W. Belton, of Worcester, died in 1998.

    He was born in Worcester, son of Walter and Anna (Manning) Belton, and attended St. John’s High School. He served in the United States Marine Corps.

    Mr. Belton was a Sterilization Technician at Astra Pharmaceutical, Westboro, where he worked for many years. He retired in 1992 and moved to Florida in 1998. He was a loyal Red Sox fan, stamp collector an avid reader and enjoyed hunting and golf.
