Mr. Richard P. Battelle, 56, died Sunday, July 2, at his home with his family by his side.
Mr. Battelle was pre-deceased by his mother, Mrs. Mary E. (Bertone) Battelle, who passed away in August of 1991.
He is survived by his father, Mr. Richard K. Battelle of Worcester; his step-mom, Jean (Catino) Battelle of Worcester; two sisters: Barbara E. Battelle of West Brattleboro, VT., and Michele M. Battelle of Sterling, MA.
Mr. Battelle was born February 26, 1950 in Worcester, Massachusetts. He was a graduate of St. John’s High School and later went on on to receive his degree from UMass-Amherst College.
Mr. Battelle was employed for many years at Sun Micro Systems as a computer analysts and most recently was working as a computer analyst for John B. Lucivero Associates, Inc.
He was a member of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel – St. Ann Church.
