Richard enjoyed cooking, baseball, listening to music, coffee, a peaceful sunny afternoon, talking with people, learning new things, a Widoffs Bakery bulkie, an old fashioned plain donut, Holy Cross Sports and anything related to his hometown of Spencer.

He is survived by his children Cheryll LeBlanc and her significant other Mark of Oxford, Richard Blodgett and his wife Elaine of Orlando, Fl, and Charles Blodgett and his wife Donna of Utah; his sisters, Carol St. Germain of Birmingham, AL, and LouAnn Bean of East Brookfield; seven grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and two step-children, Molli Woodland and Cindi Minardi and their families.
