Richard L. Stone, 78, of 19 Cricklewood Dr., died Friday, Dec. 5 at Radius Healthcare in Worcester.

   He was the husband of Ann J. (Harris) Stone, who died Nov. 20th. He leaves his brother, Russell F. Stone of Worcester; two nieces: Cindy A. Stone of Leicester and Debra E. Dembkowski of E. Brookfield; a brother, Kenneth Stone of Leicester, died in 1996. Mr. Stone was a rural postal carrier for the Leicester Post Office, where he worked for 30 years, retiring in 1995. He served his country during the Korean War with the U.S. Army. Born in Leicester, he was the son of Francis and Evelyn (Hasking) Stone. He graduated from Leicester High School and was a member of the American Legion Post #443 in Cherry Valley, and the Leicester Rod & Gun Club.

   Funeral Services will be held on Sunday, Dec. 7 in the MORIN-MORRISON FUNERAL HOME, 1131 Main St., Leicester. Calling hours will precede the service from 12 to 2p.m. in the funeral home. Burial of his ashes will be in Worcester County Memorial Park at the convenience of the family.
