Subscription Update Obituary

    Richard J. Depatie, 73, of 112 Meadow Rd., died Saturday, April 29, at St. Vincent Hospital, in Worcester, after being stricken ill at home.

    He leaves his devoted daughter, Andrea L. Depatie of Spencer, with whom he lived; two grandchildren, who he was very proud of; Aimie K. Peloquin and Adam P. Peloquin of Spencer; a brother, Francis W. Depatie, Jr. of Oxford, nieces and nephews. Mr. Depatie was a truck driver for Millbrook Distributors in Leicester for many years, retiring in 1999. He was presently employed at R & M Leasing of Webster. He was a member of the International Brotherhood of Teamsters, Local 170-Worcester. A Marine Corps veteran of the Korean War, he received the Purple Heart, the Korean Service Medal with 4 Stars, and Commendation Ribbon with Combat "V" for his service in Korea. He was a member of the "Chosin Few" Chapter (N. England and National), Tun Tavern Society in Worcester, American Legion Post 341 in Worcester and VFW Post 3439 in N. Brookfield. He was a member of the Spencer Fish & Game Club. Born in Worcester, he was the son of Francis W. and Nellie (Lemire) Depatie, Sr.
