Subscription Update Obituary

   Richard E. Murphy, 66, formerly of Boylston, died Thurs., April 3rd, in UMASS-Memorial Hospital, Memorial Campus, after a brief illness.

   He is survived by his wife, Patricia A. (Wooldridge) Murphy; a son, Richard Murphy of Worcester; a daughter, Rhonda Breault and her husband John of North Brookfield; a step-son, Raymond Allen of Ft. Walton Beach, FL; 2 step-daughters, Debbie DeRoy and her husband Robert of Tolland, CT and Tammy Brewster and her husband Phillip of Tampa, FL; brothers-in-law, Ernest Wooldridge and Judy Felton of Auburn and Edward Wooldridge and his wife Debi of Milford, CT; 9 grandchildren; several nephews and nieces and dear friends, John and Pat McDonald of North Oxford.

   Richard served his country in the Coast Guard. He retired from CVS where he worked as the Photo Lab Manager. Previously he worked at Jamesbury Corp. in Worcester.

   Relatives and friends are invited to visit with Richard's family on Sunday, April 6th from 3-7 P.M. in Britton-Wallace Funeral Home, 91 Central St., Auburn. His funeral will be held on Monday, April 7th at 11 A.M., in the funeral home. Burial will follow in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton.
