J. Rene F. Dupre, 91, of 33 Brook Farm Village died Saturday, August 15, 2009 at the Rochester Manor. Born August 7, 1918 in Leicester, MA. He was the son of the late Wilfred N. and Aline M. (Papillon) Dupre.

    In his retirement years, Rene enjoyed puttering in his yard, square and ballroom dancing; which included the Annual Snow Ball in Punta Gorda, as well as traveling throughout the US and Canada visiting family and friends.

    Members of his family include his wife of six years, Barbara Holding of Rochester; his daughter, Cheryl Leva of MA; one grandchild and two great grandchildren, as well as his step children, Blaine W. Holding and wife Bonnie of ME and Theresa H. Betts and husband Robert of Rochester. He was predeceased by his sister, Florid Sentaro.

    Friends and family may visit Wednesday, August 19, 2009 from 1 PM to 2 PM at the R. M. Edgerly & Son Funeral Home, 86 S. Main Street, Rochester, NH 03867. A memorial service will follow at 2 PM.

    Burial will be in the Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton, MA at a later date.
