Subscription Update Obituary

   Renate I. (Welti) Wills, 77, passed away on Friday, March 6, 2009 in Rose Monahan Hospice after a long illness surrounded by her loving family. She leaves 2 daughters, Monica E. Wills of Worcester and Karina S. Wills of CA. She also leaves 4 grandchildren, Michelle, Tyler, Zachary, and Christine, one sister, Elke of Germany, and a friend Mark.

   Renate was born in Germany daughter of Eugin and Elma (Pohl) Welti. She graduated from High School in Germany, moved to the United States in 1959, and worked as a nurse’s aid and a personal nurse’s assistant for many years. Renate loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

   A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, March 10, 2009 at 10:00 a.m. in Nordgren Memorial Chapel, 300 Lincoln St. Worcester, MA. Burial will follow in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. Calling hours will be held on Monday March 9, 2009 from 6:00-8:00 pm at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Rose Monahan Hospice Home, c/o VNA Care Network and Hospice, 120 Thomas St. Worcester, MA 01608-1280.
