Subscription Update Obituary

     Raymond J. Zukowski, 92, a lifelong resident of Worcester, died peacefully on Friday, May 9, 2014 at The Meadows of Leicester, following a brief period of declining health. Raymond was born and raised in Worcester, a son of the late Anthony and Anastasia (Rimopski) Zukowsky.

     He graduated from Worcester schools and from Clark University. Raymond worked for many years for Reed Roll Thread & Die, Holden before retiring.

     He was an avid 3D photographer and collector, and loved to garden and travel.

     His wife, Christine (Tortorino) Iannotti Zukowski died in 2002. He leaves his step-son, John Iannotti and his wife, Jean of Upper Chichester, PA; his sister, Anne Merriam of Connecticut; five grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his step-daughter, Carolyn O’Farrell; his five siblings, Eve Todd, Albin Zukofsky, Edward Zukowsky, Frank Zukowsky, and George Zukowski.

     Relatives and friends are invited to visit with Raymond’s family from 3 – 4:30 pm on Monday, May 19 in the Miles Funeral Home, 1158 Main Street, Holden followed by a time of family sharing, celebrating and honoring memories of Raymond’s life to be held at 4:30 pm. Burial in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton will be held privately.
