Raymond E. “Sam” Beahn,75, of Spencer, died peacefully surrounded by his family on Friday, June 20th at his home.He leaves his wife of 35 years, Karen J. (Simonovitch) Beahn and their children; Stephen M. Beahn of Hampton, NH, and  Ashley E. Beahn of Leicester, his son; Matthew A. Beahn and his wife Nicole of Charlton, daughters; Renee T. Faulkner of Worcester and Danielle M. Bjork and her husband John of Spencer, his brother; James Beahn and his wife Pamela of Worcester, sisters; Gail Brosnihan and her husband Timothy of Holden and Nancy Macaruso and her husband Anthony of Rutland, his father in law and mother in law; Peter and Geraldine Simonovitch of Spencer, 7 grandchildren, many nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by a brother; Thomas Beahn. He leaves behind his loyal companion “Annie”.

Sam was a longtime sales representative for local bottling companies for over 40 years, retiring in 2009.
He was born in Worcester, the son of Raymond and Agnes (Poplis) Beahn and graduated from St. Stephen’s High School in 1967. He later went on to serve his country with the US Army during the Vietnam War. He was a member of the Gaudette-Kirk Post 138 American Legion in Spencer. 

The funeral for Sam, will be held on Wednesday, July 2 from the J.HENRI MORIN & SON FUNERAL HOME, 23 Maple Terr., Spencer with a Memorial Mass at 10 a.m. in Our Lady of the Rosary Church, 7 Church St., Spencer. Burial with Military Honors will follow in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. Calling hours are Tuesday, July 1st  from 4-7pm. in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Spencer Rescue Squad, Inc., 6 Bixby Rd., Spencer, Ma. 01562 or Notre Dame Health Care & Hospice, 555 Plantation St., Worcester, MA 01605.
