Subscription Update Obituary

Raul Albino, 67, passed away Saturday, May 4 in UMASS Medical Center.

He leaves his wife of 44 years, Nora J. (Brown) Albino; a daughter, Jessica L. Albino of Auburn; a grandson, Cristian J. Diaz of Auburn; his mother, Juana (Quiles) Albino of Worcester; six siblings, Jose Albino and his wife, Cathy, Nelson Albino, Carlos Albino and his wife, Jennifer, Francisco Albino and Carmen Albino, all of Worcester and Blas Albino, Jr. of Myrtle Beach, SC and many nieces and nephews. Two siblings, Angel and Rosa Albino predeceased him. He was born in Corozal, Puerto Rico, son of the late, Blas Albino, Sr.

Raul attended North High School and was a manager at several Worcester area grocery stores before retiring due to a disability. He was an avid New England sports fan but was particularly devoted to the Celtics and the Red Sox.  He looked forward to going to games with his Daughter.  He loved cooking, gardening, and summer trips to Old Orchard Beach, but most of all he cherished his quality time with his Grandson.

Visiting Hours are Thursday, May 9 from 4 to 7pm at Callahan Fay Caswell Life Celebration Home, 61 Myrtle St. His funeral service will be private and burial will follow in Worcester County Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Jude’s Children Research Hospital.
