Rachel M. (Chamberland) Kennedy, 90, of 42 Parker St., Rochdale, a section of Leicester, died Saturday, July 17 at the Saint Francis Home in Worcester.

    She was the wife of John J. Kennedy, Jr. who died in 2008.

    She leaves 7 sons; James J. Kennedy and his wife Valerie of Thompson, CT., Charles M. Kennedy and his wife Carol of Millbury, Roland T. Kennedy and his wife Judy of Auburn, Denis J. Kennedy and his wife Susan of North Brookfield, David S. Kennedy of Worcester, Timothy P. Kennedy and his wife Wendy of Rochdale, John J. Kennedy III and his wife June of Spencer, 2 sisters; Madeleine Etre of Shrewsbury, Irene Schollard of Worcester, 20 grandchildren 29 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

    She was pre-deceased by a brother, Roland Chamberlain in 2005; a sister, Jean Dixon; a grandchild, Jean Roach, and a great-grandchild, Ava Kennedy.

    Born in Worcester, she was the daughter of Joseph & Rosilda (Beaudet) Chamberland.

    She was a member of St. Aloysius-St. Jude Church in Leicester.

    The Funeral will be held Wednesday, July 21 from the MORRISON-MORIN FUNERAL HOME, 1131 Main St., Leicester, with a Mass at 10 A.M. in St. Aloysius-St. Jude Church, 489 Pleasant St., Leicester. Burial will follow in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. Calling hours are Tuesday from 5-7 P.M. in the funeral home.
