Subscription Update Obituary

   Rachel I. (Mayo) Roberts, 88, formerly of Spencer, died on Wednesday, March 12th, in the Parsons Hill Nursing and Rehabilitation Center after an illness.

   Mrs. Roberts husband, Francis E. Roberts, died in 1986. She is survived by two sons: Francis E. Roberts Jr. of Brandon, VT and Raymond G. Roberts of Cherry Valley, MA; a daughter, Doris S. LaBrie of Oklahoma City, OK; 9 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren and several nephews and nieces.

   Mrs. Roberts was born in Spencer, daughter of Napoleon and Rose Mayo and is predeceased by a sister and two brothers.

   A funeral service will be held at 12 Noon on Saturday, March 15th in the Alfred Roy & Sons Funeral Home, 12 Hammond St. Burial will follow in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. A calling hour will be held from 11:00 to 12 Noon before the funeral. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Holy Name of Jesus Church, 51 Illinois St., Worcester, MA 01610.
