Subscription Update Obituary

   Phyllis M. (Dragon) Enman, 93, of Shrewsbury, formerly of Worcester, died Friday, December 12, 2008 in St. Vincent Hospital at Worcester Medical Center. Her husband, William P. Enman died in 1975.

   She leaves three daughters, Janice M. Enman of Lake Elsinore, CA., Joan C. Brigham and her husband Arnold of Plymouth and Jane C. Enman of Worcester; two sisters, Rita DiBonaventura and her husband Frank of Southbridge and Marlene Robert and her husband Gerard of Florida; seven grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and several nephews and nieces. She was born in Webster, a daughter of Arthur and Julia (Harbort) Dragon and lived many years in Worcester before coming to Shrewsbury.

   Mrs. Enman was a member of St. Stephen Church, Worcester. She graduated from St. Louis School and St. Louis High School in Webster. Phyllis loved all of her grandchildren and enjoyed cooking and playing the piano for the family.

   The funeral will be held on Friday, December 19 from DIRSA-MORIN FUNERAL HOME, 298 Grafton St, Worcester with a Mass at 11:00 am in St. Stephen Church, 357 Grafton St, Worcester. Her nephew, the Rev. Fred Enman, S.J. will be the celebrant. Burial will be in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. Calling hours in the funeral home are Thursday, December 18 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Matthew 25, 52 Queen St, Worcester, Ma., 01610.
