Subscription Update Obituary

     Philip J. Kenneway, 76, of Auburn, passed away peacefully Friday, May 13th 2011 in his home, with his loving family, after a long battle with cancer.

     He leaves his wife of 56 years, Carol M. (Hosnander) Kenneway; three children, Michael and his wife, Christine of Fremont New Hampshire, Doreen and her husband, George Germain of Northborough and Philip and his wife, Laura of Worcester; a sister, Susan and her husband, Morton Richard of Worcester; a sister-in-law, Susan and her husband, Dr. Oscar Starobin of Worcester and their family; 6 loving grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his sister, Margaret Auger and his brother, Samuel DiPasquale.

     He was born in Worcester, son of the late Tophelia (Shiraka) DiPasquale and stepfather Samuel DiPasquale. He was educated in Worcester and served three years in the Army National Guard. Philip was a press mechanic for 43 years at Washburn and American Pressed Metal. After retirement, he maintained the medical building at 130 Lincoln Street in Worcester for many years until he took ill.

     Calling hours are Tuesday, May 17th from 10:00 until 11:00 AM in O’CONNOR BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 592 Park Avenue, Worcester, with a service to follow at 11:00 AM.  Burial will be in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton.
