Subscription Update Obituary

   Philip J. Greenleaf, 95, of Worcester, passed away on Sunday, December 2, 2007, on his beloved late wife's birthday, at Autumn Village Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Worcester.

   His wife of 54 years, Elizabeth M. (Lawrence) Greenleaf, died in 1995.

   He leaves a daughter, Patricia A. Skaw of Worcester; a son, Philip J. Greenleaf II and his wife Gail of Danielson, Conn; four grandchildren, Patricia wife of Adam Kachadoorian, William Skaw, Shawn Greenleaf and Aaron Greenleaf.

   He was born in Worcester, son of Harry L. and Mary Elizabeth (Tighe) Greenleaf and lived here all of his life.

   He was an Army Air Corp veteran, stationed in India as a Health Inspector during World War II.

   Mr. Greenleaf worked for the U.S. Postal Service for 47 years.

   He was a member of St. Charles Borromeo Parish.

   He and his wife enjoyed fishing on Lake Champlain in Vermont.

   A calling hour at the Athy Memorial Home, 111 Lancaster St., Worcester, will be Friday, December 7 from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. with a Mass to follow at Noon in St. Charles Borromeo Church, 341 June St., Worcester.

   Burial will be in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton.

   In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, 30 Speen St., Framingham 01701, the American Diabetes Assn., 330 Congress St., 5th Floor, Boston 02210 or to a charity of one's choice.
