Paul Steven Laliberte, born on April 22, 1956, in Inglewood, California, passed away on December 17, 2024, in Okeechobee, Florida, at the age of 68.

Paul was preceded in death by his mother, Judith Bowers Laliberte Sweet.
He is survived by his father, Lorenzo Laliberte, and stepmother, Marie Laliberte, as well as his stepfather, Russell Sweet, all of Florida. Paul leaves behind his girlfriend, Kyle Charbonneau of Okeechobee; three siblings: sisters, Pamela Laliberte of Auburn, Massachusetts, and Patti-Ann Thibault and her husband Fabian Thibault of Auburn, Massachusetts, and brother, Mark Laliberte of Worcester, Massachusetts. He is also survived by his three children: daughters, Ashley Brook Laliberte of Worcester, Massachusetts, and Amanda Mary Davis (Laliberte) of Okeechobee, Florida, and son, Michael Paul Laliberte of Green Acres, Florida. Paul’s legacy continues through his three cherished grandchildren: Landon Paul Decheck, Cerenity Catherine Mitchell, and Alejandro Joel Gerena.

Paul attended Wachusett Regional High School and went on to serve with pride in the United States Coast Guard. A skilled professional painter, he also served as the President of his Local 35 union. Paul was a dedicated worker throughout his life, known for his unwavering commitment and reliability-never missing a day of work. Paul had a passion for riding motorcycles and was deeply engaged in political discussions, always standing firm in his beliefs. He was an enthusiast of firearms and a man of faith who found joy in attending church. Above all else, Paul loved his family dearly. His devotion to his children and grandchildren was unmatched; he consistently went above and beyond for those he held close to his heart. Paul will be remembered as a man who was deeply loved by everyone who knew him. May his memory bring comfort to all who mourn his passing.
