Subscription Update Obituary

    Paul J. Carlomagno, 82, of Carron Ln., died Wednesday, April 26, 2006, at Christopher House in Worcester. He was predeceased by his wife, Rose (Ferrante) Carlomagno, who died in 1990. He is survived by four daughters, Susan Suchocki and her husband James of Worcester, Paula Daoust and her husband Alan of Leicester, Jane Blanchard and her husband Dean of Oxford, and Amy Norcross and her husband James of Indiana; nine grandchildren and one great granddaughter. He is also survived by two brothers, Bernard and Joseph, two sisters, Theresa and Anna, and many nephews, nieces, and cousins. He was predeceased by a grandson, Andrew Daoust of Leicester, who died in 1986.

    Born in Worcester, he was the son of the late Bernard and Michelina (DeSanti) Carlomagno. He attended Worcester schools and was a U.S. Marine serving in the Pacific during World War II.

    Mr. Carlomagno was a serviceman with Commonwealth Gas Company for over 40 years, retiring in 1989. He was a member of the East Side V.F.W. Post 201, the Frohsinn Club in Shrewsbury, and St. Roch’s Church in Oxford.
