Subscription Update Obituary

Paul F. Normandin, Sr., 65, of 2 Nottingham Circle, died Wednesday, April 6, 2011 at the Whittier Rehab Hospital in Westborough.

He leaves his wife, Paula R. (Dietlin) Normandin; a son, Paul F. Normandin, Jr., and his wife Lisa; their children, Patrick J. and Kelly R. Normandin all of Leicester; a sister, Marie Moulton and her husband Richard of Spencer, nieces and nephews, brothers and sisters-in-laws.

He is pre-deceased by a brother, Sonny Normandin and a sister, Betty Lou Lapierre.

Born in Worcester, he was the son of Henry E. & Charlotte (Grigas) Normandin.

Mr. Normandin was a forklift operator for more than 25 years at Quaboag Rubber Corp. in No. Brookfield, retiring in 2009 due to illness. He previously worked at Brookfield Athletic Shoe, E.Brookfield.

He served his country in the Army during the Vietnam War.

He enjoyed the outdoors, his family and friends. The family would like to acknowledge the caring staff at Whittier Rehab, especially Lily for their care of Paul.

The Funeral will be held Friday, April 8, from the J. HENRI MORIN & SON FUNERAL HOME, 23 Maple Terr., Spencer with a Mass at 12 p.m. in Our Lady of the Rosary Church, 7 Church St., Spencer. Burial with Military Honors will follow in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. Calling hours are 4-7 P.M. Thursday in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Central MA Chapter for Homeless Veterans, 69 Grove St., Worcester, MA 01605.
