Paul A. Lord, 87, of Webster, formerly of Worcester, died peacefully, with his family by his side on Thursday, October 11, 2012 at home after a long illness.
     His wife, Sally J. (Garland) Lord, died in 1994. He leaves a son, Paul G. Lord of Worcester; a daughter, Donna J. Needham of Worcester; and two granddaughters, Kimberly Needham-Gagne and her husband Chris and Tracy Needham-Budrewicz and her husband Scott; three great-grandchildren, Ryan, Allison, and Josephine; and his long-term health aide Brenda Collins. A sister, Janet V. Bjorkman, predeceased him. He was born in Waterville, ME, son of Harold A. and Ethel V. (Chisholm) Lord, and lived in Worcester most of his life.
     Paul was an offset pressman for 34 years at New England Envelope, retiring in 1983. He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II, aboard the U.S.S. Bronson.
     Funeral services will be held Tuesday, October 16 at 11:00 a.m. in Rice Funeral Home, 300 Park Ave., Worcester. Burial will follow in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton.
