    Paul Andre "Frenchy" Laramee, 78, of 43 Fitzgerald Rd., died Monday, Feb. 22 at his home surrounded by his loving family.

    He leaves his loving wife of 54 years, Madeline M. (Boisjolie); three daughters, Denise R. Murphy and her husband Richard and their children, Christine and Jason, Paulette A. Hallihan and her husband Timothy and their children, Maureen and Sean, Monique A. Muise and her husband Kevin and their children, Megan and Pauline all of Charlton; a brother, Denis; four sisters, Fleurette, Pauline, Marina and Jeannine all of Canada; and many nieces and nephews. He was pre-deceased by a brother Rene and a sister Yvette.

    Born in St. Paul, P.Q. Canada, he was the son of Leopold & Rose (Tremblay) Laramee.

    Mr. Laramee was a fork lift mechanic for 15 years at Nitco in Worcester and formerly Field Machine in Cambridge for 19 years, retiring in 1993. He was a member of Local #4 International Union of Operating Engineers. He was a Life Member of the Spencer Fish and Game Club and a member of St. Joseph's Church in Charlton. He was an avid hockey fan and enjoyed gardening, playing Keno and "scratch tickets".

    The family would like to send a special THANK YOU to his nurse Kelly, Dr. Ralph Sama and his entire Hospice team.

    The funeral will be held Friday, February 26 from the J. HENRI MORIN & SON FUNERAL HOME, 23 Maple Terr., Spencer with a Mass at 10 a.m. in St. Joseph's Church,10H Putnam Rd. Ext., Charlton. Calling hours are Thursday from 4-7 p.m. in the funeral home. Burial will be in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to UMASS Memorial Hospice c/o UMASS Foundation, P.O. Box 2795, Worcester, MA. 01613-9938.
