Subscription Update Obituary

    Patricia M. (O'Brien) Dumais, 64, of 328-D Greenwood St., formerly of Templeton, a retired proofreader, died yesterday at home after an illness.
    

    Her husband, Alfred J. Dumais, died in 1989. She leaves four sons, Joseph A. Dumais of Foster City, Calif., Army Master Sgt. Douglas P. Dumais of Pittsburgh, David P. Dumais of Worcester and John F. Dumais of Fort Collins, Colo.; three brothers, Joseph R. O'Brien of Clover, S.C., Stephen M. O'Brien of Worcester and Terrence E. O'Brien of Mooresville, N.C.; four grandchildren; nephews and nieces. A brother, David P. O'Brien of Worcester, died last October.

    Born in Worcester, daughter of John F. O'Brien Sr. and Pearle M. (Gabrie) O'Brien, she lived moved to Templeton in 1977 and returned to Worcester in 1989. She graduated from Leicester High School in 1948.

    Mrs. Dumais was a proofreader three years at Gardner News, retiring in 1989. She previously worked at Harrington & Richardson Arms Co. in Gardner.
She was a member of St. Catherine of Sweden Church and Massachusetts Citizens for Life.
 

    The funeral will be held Thursday from Henry Funeral Home, 33 Ward St., with a Mass at 10 a.m. in St. Catherine of Sweden Church, 1 Wiser Ave. Burial will be in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. Calling hours are 7 to 9 p.m. tomorrow at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Haiti Foundation, Arthur Chartier, South Street, Templeton 01468.
