Subscription Update Obituary

    Patricia L. (Lindquist) Pond, 59, of Jackson St., Jefferson, died unexpectedly in her daughter's home in Hanson on Sunday, September 27, 2009.

    Her husband of 35 years, Albert "Butch" W. Pond died in 2003. She leaves two daughters, Sherri L. Pond of Hanson and Cristi M. Surprenant and her husband Kevin of Rutland; her father, William E. Lindquist of Paxton; a brother, William E. Lindquist, Jr. of Rochdale; two sisters, Barbara "Bonnie" J. Dadah and Diane C. Lindquist, both of Paxton; four grandchildren, Brett, Luke, Ryan and Ashley Surprenant; 8 nephews and a niece. She was born in Worcester the daughter of the late Jeanne (Kerin) Lindquist.

    Patricia was a graduate of Wachusett Regional High School. She was an LPN for the Stetson School in Barre for over 10 years, and previously worked for Holden Nursing Home and UMass Memorial Healthcare. She loved the outdoors and spending time with her family.

    Relatives and friends are invited to attend calling hours from 5 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, October 1st, in the Miles Funeral Home, 1158 Main St., Holden. The funeral service for Patricia will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Friday, October 2nd, in the funeral home with burial following in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Stetson School, P.O. Box 309, Barre, MA 01005-0309.
