Ora C. (Lusignan) Mechetti, 91, formerly of 475 Chandler St., died peacefully on Friday, February 2, 2007, in Shrewsbury Nursing Home. Her husband of 56 years, Joseph J. Mechetti, died July 12, 1991. She leaves two daughters, Carol A. Anderson and her husband Rodney, Anne-Marie Henderson and her husband William, both of Worcester; 5 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; a just born great-great granddaughter; and many nieces and nephews. Her brother, Clarence Lusignan and her sister, Beatrice Angers, both predeceased her. She was born in Worcester, daughter of the late Ulric and Ella E. (Rainville) Lusignan, and was a graduate of St. Joseph’s School and Becker Junior College.

Ora worked in the business office at St. Vincent Hospital for many years until she retired. She especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
