Subscription Update Obituary

Olga E. (Hanzarak) Guidaboni, 73, of Merriwether Road, died Sunday, December 10, 2006, at UMass Memorial Medical Center, Worcester, after a battle with leukemia. She is survived by two children, Dwight Guidaboni and his wife Roberta of Wheeler, Wisconsin, and Hilary E. Guidaboni of Worcester; two sisters, Jennie Symonaick and Mary Miklusis, both of Worcester; six grandchildren, including Zachary M. Guidaboni of Worcester, and many nephews and nieces. She was predeceased by her former husband, Bernard Guidaboni; four brothers, Alexander Hanzarak, Russell Hanzarak, John Hanzarak, and Walter Hanzarak; and two sisters, Helen Neslusan and Gladys Dubsky. She was born in Worcester, the daughter of the late William and Stella (Schlactun) Hanzarak, and was a lifelong resident of Worcester. She graduated from Commerce High School in Worcester and attended nursing school at City Hospital.

Ms. Guidaboni was employed by UMass Memorial Medical Center for 25 years, retiring many years ago. She was a member and Eucharistic Minister at Our Lady of the Angels Church in Worcester. Ms. Guidaboni was a kind and loving person who always put her family first. She always helped others and never looked for anything in return.

A funeral will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, December 14, 2006, from Paradis Funeral Home, 357 Main Street, Oxford, followed by a Mass at 12 noon at Our Lady of the Angels Church, 1222 Main Street, Worcester. Burial will follow at Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. Calling hours are Wednesday, December 13, 2006, from 5-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
