Subscription Update Obituary

Norma L. Toney, 94, of Worcester, passed away on Monday, October 20, 2025, in the comfort of her own home.

Norma is survived by her loving Goddaughters, Crystal Jones-Davis of Syracuse, NY, and Wendy Rodgers of Buffalo, NY; her half-brother, Albert Toney; her dear cousin, Barbara Harris of Worcester and several more cherished cousins. Sadly, in addition to her parents Norma was predeceased by her twin brother, Norman; along with her three half-brothers and half-sister.

Born in Worcester on July 17, 1931, Norma was the daughter of the late Albert and Naomi (Hampton) Toney. She was a dedicated worker for 30 years at Worcester State Hospital.

A Calling Hour will be held for Norma on Wednesday, October 29, 2025, from 10:00a.m. until her Funeral Service at 11:00 a.m. at Mercadante Funeral Home & Chapel, 370 Plantation Street, Worcester. Interment will immediately follow services at Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Norma’s memory to American Cancer Society.
