Subscription Update Obituary

     Norma L. (Jackson) Dupuis, 69, formerly of Worcester, was stricken ill and died Saturday, Nov. 5, 2011 at her home in West Yarmouth on Cape Cod.

     She leaves five children, Rhonda L. DeLaRosa of Winchendon, Roland J. Dupuis and his wife Karen of Worcester, Ronald J. Dupuis Jr. and his wife Susan of Southbridge, Robert J. Dupuis and his wife Amy of Worcester, and Renee Fazio and her husband Thomas of New Bedford; her 16 beloved grandchildren, Mark, Melissa, Mateo, Jacob, Kyle, Joshua, Ronald III, Robert II, Alexandra, Kirsten, Reyse, Ashleigh, Nathan, Madison, Nicholas and Sydney; three great-grandchildren, Austin, Mia and Lilly; brothers Richard and Peter, a sister Thelma, and many nieces, nephews and friends. Her husband Ronald J. Dupuis died in 2010.

     Norma was born in Worcester, daughter of Victoria (Lasalle) Jackson and Everett Jackson.

     She worked in the restaurant field for many years including several years as a short order cook and waitress.

     Norma enjoyed crossword puzzles and playing card games. She will be remembered for her great sense of humor and her love for her family and all children.

     There will be calling hours Thursday, Nov. 10 from 10 a.m. to Noon at the Athy Memorial Home, 111 Lancaster St., Worcester. The funeral service will follow in the funeral home.

     Burial will be in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton.

     In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society , 30 Speen St., Framingham 01701.
