    Nicolas M. “Nick” Aja, 28, of 60 Pleasant St., died suddenly, Thursday, Nov. 25, 2010 at his home.

    He leaves his father Michael L. Aja and Marlene Foley of No. Brookfield, his mother Sheryl F. (Ser) Forte and her husband Richard of Sturbridge, his “Nana” Joan Jack of Sturbridge, his brothers Bryan S. Aja of SanDiego, CA, and Adam J. Aja and his daughters Kaya Magnolia and Stella Marie of Buffalo, NY, a stepbrother Derek L. Forte of Hawaii, his aunt Jodi Donohue Aja of Leicester, his uncle Howard Ser and his wife Michelle of Sturbridge, a great uncle Harold Ser of Longmeadow, cousins Jennifer Sanders, Jessica Aja, Jason Ser and Jennifer Delanski.

    Born in Worcester, he graduated from Leicester High School and attended Quinsigamond Community College in Worcester and Johnson State College in VT.

    Nick was a ski instructor at Mt. Wachusett in Princeton for the past two years. He was a self employed auto reconditioning specialist.

    Nick was once a counselor at Camp Frank a Day in E. Brookfield. He enjoyed a variety of outdoors activities including skiing (snow & water), surfing, skateboarding, riding motor cycles, camping and hiking.

    A funeral service for Nick will be held on Monday, Nov. 29 at 11 a.m. in the MORRISON-MORIN FUNERAL HOME, 1131 Main St., Leicester. Burial will follow in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. Calling hours will precede the service on Monday from 9 to 11a.m. Please omit flowers. Contributions may be made to the Leicester Food Pantry, P.O. Box 333, Leicester, MA. 01524 in his memory.
