Subscription Update Obituary

   Nellie J. (Matulis) Chuplis, 90, of Worcester and Ft. Myers, FL, died Saturday, March 7th in the Odd Fellows Home. Her husband of 49 years, William J. Chuplis, died in 1985.

   She leaves her son, W. John Chuplis and his wife Darlene of Auburn, Alabama; two daughters, Judith A. Macduff of Princeton and Nancy A. Perron and her husband William of Auburn; her brother, Walter Matulis of Upton; two sisters, Ann Roman of Worcester and Arlene Stalilionis of Maine; eight grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; and several nephews and nieces. Her grandson, Corey R. Macduff predeceased her.

   She was born in Worcester, the daughter of Peter and Monica (Letsky) Matulis and was a graduate of the former High School of Commerce. Mrs. Chuplis was an inspector for Astra Pharmaceutical. She was a member of North American Martyrs Church in Auburn and enjoyed time spent at Cape Cod and in Ft. Myers, FL with her grandchildren.

   Nellie's family would like to extend their gratitude to the staff of the Odd Fellows Home and the Western Massachusetts Hospice for their loving and gentle care.

   The funeral is Tuesday, March 10th from O'CONNOR BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 592 Park Avenue with a Mass at Noon in North American Martyrs Church, 8 Wyoma Drive, Auburn. Burial will be in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. A calling hour will be held Tuesday morning from 10:30 until 11:30 in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Odd Fellows Home, 104 Randolph Road, Worcester, MA 01606.
