Nellie B. (Zereski) Gulbicki, 86, of Worcester, died peacefully in St. Vincent Hospital, Wednesday, Nov. 21, 2007, after a long illness. Her husband of 45 years, Joseph A. Gulbicki, died in 1992. She leaves a son, Joseph Gulbicki of North Reading; two daughters: Linda J. Butler of Winchester and Paula A. Gulbicki; a sister, Hattie Pigoga of Worcester; seven grandchildren, a great-granddaughter and many nieces and nephews.

   She was born in Worcester, daughter of Andrew and Teofila Zereski and lived in Worcester all her life. She attended St. Mary's High School.

   Nellie was a waitress at the Millbrook Diner in Worcester for 37 years, retiring in 1998.

   She was a member of St. Joan of Arc Church and was a longtime volunteer at Hahnemann Hospital and the Worcester Senior Center.

   Nellie was a loving mother and grandmother.

   Calling hours at the Athy Memorial Home, 111 Lancaster St., Worcester, are Friday, Nov. 23 from 4 to 7 p.m. The funeral will be Saturday, Nov. 24 from the funeral home with a Mass at 10 a.m. in St. Joan of Arc Church, 570 Lincoln St., Worcester. Burial will be in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton.
