Nancy E. Grilli, 63, of Worcester, passed away Thursday, December 8, 2011 in her home.

She leaves her only son, Christopher and his wife Alexis Grilli of Worcester and a brother, Michael E. Grilli and his wife Helen of Framingham and a nephew, Thomas Grilli. She is predeceased by a brother, Robert J. Grilli.

She was born in Norman, OK on May 5, 1948 to the daughter of the late Eugene F. and Chlorine (Ifland) Grille and was a graduate of Burncoat High School. Nancy later received her degree in Biology at Worcester State College. Ms. Grille worked for many years as an animal care specialist for the Abbott Animal Hospital. She enjoyed studying both Astrology and Anthropology but most of all she had a deep love and interest for animals. Her caring and generosity will be missed by all those of whose lives she touched in so many ways.

Nancy’s funeral will be held Monday, December 12th at 11:00 a.m. in the MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Planation Street, Worcester. Friends and family are invited to visit with the family from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home before the service.
